BREEDING CONSISTENCY

The Avant Garde Group wanted to take control of the marketing and distribution of semen from our bulls, so AG3 was created. The sire portfolio at AG3 is carefully curated by considering proven maternal lines, modern sire pedigrees, and top-tier genomic profiles.
Bulls enter our program based on rigorous criteria. We look for modern sire stacks combined with outstanding cow families excelling in type and production that have the ability to produce exceptional individuals. We focus primarily on bulls from fully-proven pedigrees, and the bulls themselves have to meet our type standards.
We still believe that breeders know best for their own herds so we offer all the information possible to the breeder to help select mating sires: genomic info, photos of the bulls, dams and daughters, aAa numbers, classification scores and actual performance data on the bull dams.
We then offer ease of purchase through our online store for USA customers, as well as through our list of trusted distributors for Canadian and International customers.

AG3 founder and President David Dyment is a lifelong Holstein breeder and marketer. He’s had the privilege of owning and developing some of the most influential cows in the breed, including Apple, Chassity, Planet Silk, McCutchen Summer, and Caught Your Eye, along with many members of the Splendor / Flower cow family that originated at his family’s Glen Drummond Farm.
He has also bred or co-bred a number of notable AI sires including Absolute-Red, Gold Chip, Sympatico, Avalanche, Bullseye, Eye Candy, Summerfest, Select, and Latenite-Red. David hand picks every bull that enters AG3, and every bull is one that he uses in his own female genetic program.
